The Rolling Stones by Lucky Brand Jeans
I was tasked to art direct and design a collaboration project between The Rolling Stones and Lucky Brand Jeans. The project consisted or print and web assets as well as other ephemera for a physical in-store experience.
The in-store experience consisted of window teasers prior to the online shop going Live. These teasers used art work and photography from the Stones, circa 1971-72.
Once live the windows were dressed with Rolling Stones concert tees, denim jackets and leather jackets with original art.
On the web side of the experience, users who visited the Luckybrand.com site were teased with a blacked out page with only the iconic Tongue logo inviting people to click. By clicking visitors were taken to the main Rolling Stones X Lucky Brand shop as well as a sweepstakes page where users entered in hopes to win a pair of tickets to see the Stones LIVE!
It was a great experience and an honor doing work for such an iconic band.
Art directed and designed Lucky Brand's collection of The Beatles Shop, Mobile, Email and Promo campaign. This collaboration was to promote the Rerelease of the 1 Album.
Taking a queue from the album colors, and a minimalist approach borrowed from the White Album, the entire look was light and clean.
For the main theme, I wanted to convey the experience as a tour in the famous Yellow Submarine.
New work for Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. This work ranges from graphics, patterns to typographic explorations.
Villen Corps Clothing Co.
Several years ago I did some designs for a clothing company out of Venice, Ca. The name of the brand was Villen Corps, the brand has been "on-hold" for a while now unfortunately. These designs are self initiated and for personal exercise.
Maybe, perhaps they will be used in the not so distant future. Only time will tell.
Brochure design for a small independent jeweler. The project consisted of designing a cover and laying out the seasons jewelry as well as an email announcement.
The concept behind the project was incorporating the graphic element, in this case, the triangles used in the Gabriela Artigas logo.
While working at Herbalife, I was tasked to create posters for the seasonal releases of their protein shakes, these included; Pralines & Cream" which was being released for summer 2014, Pumpkin Spice and the Cookies 'n Cream release for the Canadian market.
